About the role

  • ESG Commercial Partnerships Manager developing and executing sustainable agriculture partnerships at Ardent Mills. Collaborating with farmers and customers to achieve sustainability goals and manage program initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support customer partnerships and manage day to day interactions related to ESG Commercial Partnerships program
  • Manage execution of and planning for Ardent Mills Regenerative Agriculture partnerships and other commercial partnership opportunities
  • Drive profitable growth and de-risk existing program
  • Responsible for contracting process on vendor and customer side respectively in collaboration with Legal
  • Hold regular meetings with vendors and customers to ensure program success
  • Report regular status updates to ESG leadership
  • Serve as an additional key contact for Sales and support presentation to customers on Ardent Mills Commercial and Regen Programs offering expertise and education
  • Manage budget, provide regular updates and assist in annual budgeting process based on forecasted customer needs
  • Develop and implement on-farm Ardent Mills Regenerative Agriculture programs through strong vendor partnerships to support farming practices that serve customer goals
  • Collaborate with farmers, suppliers and customers to drive sustainability goals, objectives, and strategies
  • Identify grower partners for the Ardent Mills Regenerative Agriculture program
  • Plan yearly grower events, trainings and customer visits
  • Collect necessary data to deliver customer presentations and reports communicating sustainability initiatives, KPIs and metrics
  • Assist customers and vendors in completion of any external marketing related to our programs
  • Partner with Communications/Marketing to generate content for marketing resources
  • Joint ownership with Sr Manager in representing Ardent Mills across the industry by facilitating and fostering existing and new relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Business, Agronomy, Sustainable Agriculture, Sustainability, or related field
  • Minimum five years of experience in agriculture or food processing including sustainability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse internal and external customer base
  • Extremely detail oriented and ability to work on longer term projects while achieving deadlines and intermittent milestones
  • Demonstrated skill in analysis, fiscally minded, organization, planning, listening and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to make the complex simple for a variety of audiences
  • Experience using software applications i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerApps
