About the role
- Chargé d'Opérations contributing to energy market processes optimization in a scale-up energy company. Involved in data preparation, reporting, and operational tools development.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the analysis and implementation of tools to optimize balancing processes (consumption forecasting, nominations, management of RTE imbalances)
- Improve the reliability of data preparation processes upstream of pricing
- Improve and develop position monitoring and portfolio P&L tools
- Identify and prioritize operational tasks to automate for efficiency gains
- Produce high-quality operational reporting to support decision-making
Requirements
- Proven experience in energy markets with advanced expertise in balancing topics (consumption forecasting, nominations, RTE imbalances)
- Proficiency in Excel and Python for data manipulation and analysis, as well as BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong experience in operational reporting
- Rigorous, excellent problem-solving skills and a strong capacity to learn
- Enjoy working in a team and communicating effectively with stakeholders
- Bonus: knowledge of electricity and/or gas offer pricing
