About the role

  • Senior Asset Manager responsible for managing and optimizing renewable energy assets' performance. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance and maximize value from operations and contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage annual EBITDA targets under IFRS and GAAP for assigned renewable energy assets.
  • Work closely with the Portfolio Management team to obtain Proforma feedback.
  • Monitor and ensure placement and management of all supporting financial instruments during operations.
  • Closely track and optimize the operational and financial performance of assets.
  • Interpret partnership, financing, lease, purchase, and warranty contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
  • An advanced degree (MS or MBA) or certifications (asset management certification, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.) are assets.
  • Prior experience negotiating and resolving contract issues.
  • Ability to identify and analyze a project's financial, commercial, and operational challenges.
  • Passion for renewable energy with strong knowledge of energy markets and the renewable technology space.
