About the role

  • Senior Sales & Key Account Manager responsible for managing B2B exhibitions in Austria at Easyfairs. Focusing on sales, key account management, and strategic growth in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Active sales of exhibition stands as well as marketing and sponsorship packages to new and existing customers
  • Advising exhibitors on participation formats, booth placement and additional services
  • Preparing offers, conducting price and contract negotiations through to successful closing
  • Responsibility for pipeline, forecast, target achievement and CRM management (Salesforce/Easyfairs tools)
  • Strategic management, development and retention of selected key accounts
  • Identifying new market and growth opportunities in relevant industries
  • Systematic expansion of target groups and market segments
  • Active contribution to the long-term market positioning of our exhibitions in Austria
  • Building, maintaining and further developing a strong network of companies, associations, media and multipliers
  • Representing Easyfairs exhibitions at industry events as well as at press and client meetings
  • Increasing the visibility and relevance of our exhibitions in the Austrian market
  • Close collaboration with exhibition management, marketing and operations
  • Ensuring consistent, high-quality exhibitor support across the entire customer journey
  • Continuous market and competitor monitoring as input for concept and quality development

Requirements

  • Several years of relevant experience in B2B sales (ideally trade fairs/events, media, sponsorship or complex B2B services/products)
  • Proven track record of closing deals, strong negotiation skills and a structured working style
  • Experience in key account management and in developing long-term customer relationships
  • Enjoys building networks, strong communication skills and active representation
  • High adaptability in communicative B2B customer contact
  • Very good understanding of the Austrian market and experience in professional customer dealings in Austria
  • Willingness to travel within Austria (client meetings & trade fair days)
  • Very good German and good English skills
  • Confident use of MS Office and digital tools
