Responsibilities
Community and industry positioning
Build, maintain and strategically develop a strong industry network (companies, associations, media, multipliers, opinion leaders)
Ownership of key community and brand relationships (e.g., advisory boards, strategic partners, top brands)
Represent FMB and the entire Easyfairs portfolio at industry events, associations, press and client meetings relevant to FMB
Identify new target groups and continuously increase the trade fair's market relevance
Develop and implement a future-oriented content strategy for FMB
Design and implement the lecture and event program (topic research, formats, speakers)
Translate industry trends into compelling content formats (forums, special exhibitions, VIP programs, etc.)
Work closely with Sales and Marketing to optimally position and market the formats
Conduct strategic analysis of the attendee universe and actively expand the presence of decision-makers and technical visitors
Conceptualize, implement and further develop special campaigns and exhibition areas at FMB
Independently acquire speakers, partners and exhibitors
Financial responsibility for the success of special formats
Work closely with Sales to monetize the concepts
Strategic management and development of selected key accounts
Support the establishment of strategic cooperations and partnerships
Develop bespoke participation concepts for top exhibitors
Actively contribute to shaping the long-term market positioning of FMB
Requirements
Completed degree with a focus in business, engineering or communications, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in content strategy, marketing, sales, event management or business development
Strong understanding of industrial B2B markets, ideally in mechanical or plant engineering
Strategic foresight combined with a hands-on mentality and strong execution skills
Excellent organization and prioritization skills in complex environments
Strong communication skills, confident and professional presence at all levels
Strong networking skills and enjoyment of actively building relationships
Sales affinity and an entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
