About the role

  • Junior Instructional Designer driving digital upskilling initiatives at E.ON Digital Technology. Focused on enhancing employee skills in Data, AI, and Automation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end design, development and deployment of upskilling content on digital topics such as Data & AI, Automation, and Personal Productivity
  • Apply iterative instructional design approaches (primarily SAM) to ensure content is effective and engaging
  • Assist in analyzing learner personas, their needs, and pain points, and translate these into clear learning objectives
  • Use (AI-based) content authoring tools for content creation; upload, configure, and manage courses within the Learning Experience System (LXP)
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business goals
  • Help ensure all learning content is accessible, user-friendly, and meets internal quality standards
  • Contribute to analyzing learning content performance data to continuously improve instructional materials

Requirements

  • Degree or near completion in Instructional Design, Human Resource Management, Education, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
  • Up to 2 years of professional experience with a proven track record of success in upskilling and reskilling, preferably in an international matrix environment
  • Business fluent in German and English (both written and verbal)
  • Basic proficiency in our core authoring stack, especially Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), TechSmith Camtasia and Synthesia; initial experience with Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or Frontify is a strong plus
  • Foundational understanding of, and initial practical experience with, the SAM instructional design approach. Understanding of other approaches, such as ADDIE, is a plus
  • Passion for learning, people, technology and the energy transition. Affinity with digital topics (e.g., Data, AI, Automation, etc.) is a plus
  • Mindset to complete tasks conscientiously, reliably, and end-to-end, with a high level of personal commitment
