Segment Manager for Sweet Goods leading marketing strategy across APAC markets. Driving customer engagement and innovation deployment in the food industry.
Responsibilities
Support the Associate Director, Segment Leader, Sweet Goods, APAC in executing the regional Sweet Goods strategy, translating priorities into concrete initiatives and action plans.
Monitor segment performance, identify growth opportunities and risks, and support corrective actions where needed.
Develop and adapt customer ready value propositions for sweet goods applications, grounded in consumer, market, and application insights.
Translate emerging trends (e.g. indulgence, premiumization, affordability, better for you) into commercially relevant customer opportunities.
Work closely with the APAC Innovation Deployment Lead and technical teams to activate the Sweet Goods innovation pipeline in the region.
Collaborate with APAC Sweet Goods marketing, creation, application, and sensory teams to develop and roll out segment initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Food Science, or a related discipline.
Background in dairy, bakery, or confectionery is a strong advantage.
6–10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, segment/category management, commercial, or technical roles within the food, ingredients, or flavor industry.
Experience working across multiple APAC markets preferred.
Demonstrated ability to support strategy execution with tangible commercial impact.
Ability to translate insights into practical, customer relevant solutions.
