About the role

  • Process Manager managing Configuration and Change Management at Dräger, focusing on operational responsibilities in global IT processes. Engaging with stakeholders and improving IT governance practices.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and enforce the Configuration Management process, including maintenance and updates of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • Ensure a smooth Change Management process, including monitoring, supporting and approving approval processes via the CAB (Change Advisory Board) and promoting continuous improvements
  • Develop and implement a roadmap for comprehensive and agile Configuration and Change Management in accordance with ITIL best practices
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all operational matters
  • Maintain, improve and implement processes within the ITSM solution and produce reports
  • Deliver training and provide operational support for colleagues and external partners, including creating user manuals and work instructions
  • Participate in cross-functional projects as the operational expert for Configuration and Change Management and represent process-related topics

Requirements

  • Degree in an IT-related field or completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent
  • Professional experience in IT Service Management (particularly Configuration and Change Management)
  • Experience with ITSM tools covering configuration, change management, reporting and IT service management
  • Strong understanding of ITIL v3 or ITIL v4
  • Familiarity with IT governance, compliance and audit requirements
  • Business-fluent German and English
  • Enthusiasm for working in an agile team with an English-speaking Product Owner
