Responsibilities
Design and build the People & Culture practices
Develop and lead HR strategy across the business
Champion a high-performance culture rooted in trust, autonomy, and accountability
Build a scalable HR infrastructure, including policies, systems, HRIS (we use BambooHR), and processes
Design and implement the blueprint for our internship program
Partner with managers to improve team performance, coaching, and growth
Lead DEIB initiatives and ensure inclusive, progressive workplace practices
Own the employee lifecycle journey — from onboarding to exit and everything in between
Run employee surveys, feedback loops, and culture diagnostics
Drive employer branding efforts to attract and retain top talent
Ensure compliance with labour laws and best HR practices
Support recruitment, performance reviews, and leadership development
Requirements
3+ years in a People Partner / HRBP / People & Culture role in a high-growth environment
Proven experience building or scaling HR teams or functions
Strong understanding of South African labour law
High EQ and business acumen — you get people, and you get strategy
Track record of leading culture change or building award-winning teams
