About the role
- Operations Manager supporting the operation of virtual power plants for Energiekoppler. Managing integration of renewable energy systems and customer support.
Responsibilities
- You will manage the operation of the virtual power plants we operate
- Clarify boundary conditions for the integration of PV systems, wind turbines, battery storage and other controllable systems (e.g., communication protocols, connection options)
- Integrate new assets into our customers’ processes
- Configure the virtual power plants
- Provide customer support to achieve optimal market trading results
- Assist in preparing control hardware for integration, particularly in wind turbines and battery storage systems
- Analyze data in the event of technical malfunctions on assets to identify weaknesses
- Analyze data to improve market potential and trading results
Requirements
- Completed engineering degree (Master or Bachelor) or technical training with a background in Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or Electrical Engineering
- You are motivated by responsible tasks, work cooperatively in a team, and are able to take initiative independently
- You enjoy making use of scope for decision-making and work responsibly and reliably
- Structured working style with the necessary level of analytical thinking
- Affinity for working with IT tools (e.g., Git, Microsoft Office, GitLab, ticketing systems such as ZOHO Desk, Markdown)
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Optional: knowledge of Python or an affinity for programming
- Optional: energy market knowledge is helpful for your tasks
