About the role

  • Terminal Operations Supervisor developing leadership through a structured training program in the oil and gas sector. Positions involve significant responsibilities across multiple terminal locations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop broad operations knowledge and leadership skills through the Terminal Operations Supervisor Development Program training curriculum, classroom training, and on-the-job learning
  • Assumes the responsibilities of Supervisor/Manager and others on a temporary basis and performs such responsibilities at various locations for developmental purposes
  • Actively participates in HES&S programs/initiatives and other pertinent company programs and initiatives
  • Assists project managers or engineers in coordination and timely completion of local construction projects
  • Foster an entrepreneurial mindset, control expenses within the budget
  • Assists operations and administrative personnel in the identification and resolution of operational issues and problems
  • Work to improve equipment reliability through training and technology
  • Operational leadership roles, such as this one, will at times require work effort outside of normal working hours

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • Successful candidate will be required to get a TWIC (company funded)
  • Successful candidate will be required to submit to a background check that includes a Motor Vehicle Report
  • 3-5 Years of oil & gas/terminal operations/petroleum industry experience preferred
