About the role
- Operations Manager overseeing virtual power plants, coordinating integration of renewable energy systems at DieEnergiekoppler. Supporting clients for optimization with an IoT solution.
Responsibilities
- You oversee the operation of the virtual power plants we operate
- Define requirements and boundary conditions for integrating PV systems, wind turbines, battery storage and other controllable assets
- Integrate new assets into our customers' processes
- Configure the virtual power plants
- Provide customer support to achieve optimal market participation and revenue results
- Support preparation of control hardware for integration, especially for wind turbines and battery storage systems
- Analyze data in the event of technical malfunctions on assets to identify weaknesses
- Analyze data to improve market potential and commercialization results
Requirements
- Completed engineering degree (Master or Bachelor) or technical training with a background in Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- You are motivated by responsible tasks; you work cooperatively in a team but also take initiative independently
- You enjoy having scope to shape your work and act responsibly and reliably
- Structured working style with the necessary level of analytical thinking
- Affinity for working with IT tools (e.g., Git, Microsoft Office, GitLab, ticketing systems such as ZOHO Desk, Markdown)
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Optional: knowledge of Python or an affinity for programming
- Optional: knowledge of the energy sector/energy economics is beneficial
