Responsibilities
Support 2nd-level incident handling (L2): analyze issues, propose solutions, and document outcomes
Contribute to internal reporting and improve/automate recurring reports
Help design and implement new processes and workflows across tools and environments
Support administration and operational tasks for our document management system Alfresco (e.g., workflows, permissions, troubleshooting)
Work with Jira for ticket handling and Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing
Support the implementation of an automated role recertification process for Alfresco
Gain exposure to additional applications supported by the team (approximately 30) and contribute to continuous improvements
Requirements
Enrolled at an accredited university for the duration of employment
Have completed at least two semesters (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or a related field) or hold a Bachelor’s degree and be enrolled in a Master’s program
Strong interest in IT operations and service delivery for internal users
Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
Available to work 19 hours per week and able to attend the Eschborn office at least once per week (hybrid model)
Fluent in written and spoken English
Ideally have initial practical experience in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
Basic knowledge of system administration and web services/APIs
