Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Solutions Consultants, creating an environment where they can excel in pre-sales engagements, technical evaluations, and ongoing customer advocacy.
Drive the professional growth and development of team members. Oversee complex sales cycles with Account Executives, coach to success, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Set the vision, culture, and clear performance expectations for your team.
Recruit, onboard, and develop new team members.
Standardize best practices and processes to continuously improve team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate cross-functionally to stay ahead of product innovations.
Be a thought leader, customer advocate, and partner to employees and customers.
Act as a customer champion, ensuring feedback and insights are channeled effectively into DeepL’s product roadmap.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, and leading teams with a focus on pre-sales engineering, solution consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
5+ years of hands-on experience in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineering, or equivalent function within the SaaS industry.
Proven track record of building high-performing teams that meet and exceed objectives.
Demonstrate strong customer empathy and passion for revenue growth.
Outstanding leadership skills, with a commitment to cultivating talent, fostering collaboration, and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Exceptional communication skills across mediums and stakeholder groups.
Strong strategic thinking and project management abilities.
A passion for solutions consulting, technological innovation, and overcoming language barriers on a global scale.
Experience with Salesforce or related CRM tools is preferred.
Comfortable with a hybrid working model and able to come into our Austin office regularly (2x a week).
