Hybrid Field Sales Representative managing sales growth for Aetna IVL Medicare products. Building relationships through field sales and telesales efforts while ensuring compliance with Medicare regulations.
Responsibilities
Managing sales growth by building a book of business leveraging field sales marketing activity and telesales programs
Selling, cross-selling, up-selling, and retaining through the use of the Aetna IVL Medicare product portfolio
Deploying an operating model that supports 3 days in the field and 2 days in a call center queue
Owning the member relationship throughout the year as the primary contact for member inquiries
Documenting call interactions, COIs, and lead management protocols with new and existing members
Developing, continuously training, and learning new sales skills to support best-in-class customer acquisition metrics, sales goals, and other KPIs
Accountable for telesales/field sales achievement of quality, sales effectiveness, retention, secret shopper initiatives, and state, federal, and CMS requirements for Medicare sales agents and programs
Requirements
4-year college degree or 1 to 2 years’ experience of selling multiple Medicare products (i.e., Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement)
Life & Health insurance license is not required to be employed; it is required to obtain the license within 60 days from the employment start date
Active use of computer for carrying out daily job activities
Ability to multi-task while talking on the phone
Excellent communication and listening skills
Self-starter with positive attitude and ability to control emotions when dealing with unhappy customers (i.e., “Customer is always right” attitude)
Adaptable to high pressure, achievement-oriented environment
Drive to build, manage, and grow a book of business and become successful entrepreneur
High level of computer proficiency including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office package
Ability to quickly perform basic mathematical operations without use of calculator
