About the role

  • Brand Intern at Crystal Dynamics managing social media and community engagement for AAA gaming projects. Involving in hands-on work and professional development for emerging professionals in the game industry.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in various game development aspects of game marketing and community engagement, including social media planning, content creation, campaign support, and community interaction
  • Acquire essential skills using industry-standard tools and software such as social media management platforms, analytics tools, content scheduling software, and digital design tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, native platform tools, Google Analytics, Photoshop, or similar)
  • Support mid, senior, and lead marketing and community team members with social content creation, scheduling posts, organizing assets, monitoring community feedback, and helping prepare reports or presentations.
  • Enhance understanding of how marketing and community efforts support game development, launches, and ongoing player engagement.
  • Contribute to active game development efforts while learning production scope, workflows, and the advanced tools used across modern AAA pipelines.

Requirements

  • Enrolled as a college Junior or Senior (Seniors could have graduated in Fall/Winter 2025 or will be graduating in Spring 2026)
  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Art, Game Art, Game Development, or related fields.
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hrs / week) for the duration of the program (June 1st – August 21st, 2026)
  • Able to work onsite at the studio in San Carlos, CA for the first 1-2 weeks for onboarding
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States
