About the role
- Development Projects Manager at CR2 responsible for software development and IT project management. Leading cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing a portfolio of software development and IT projects.
- Lead the end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent software development and IT projects.
- Partner with the CTO and senior leadership to ensure all projects align with enterprise strategy and product roadmaps.
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation, adjusting plans proactively as priorities shift.
- Coordinate and influence multidisciplinary teams including Solution Architecture, Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and IT.
- Track and report project performance using approved methodologies and tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience successfully managing software development and/or IT projects in fast‑paced environments.
- Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, resources, and complex delivery timelines.
- Proven record working with cross-functional technical teams and directly with customers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Industry-recognised project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) is beneficial.
