About the role

  • Regional Business Development Manager responsible for driving growth and developing strategic partnerships across Reading and surrounding areas. Managing accounts and identifying new business opportunities in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth and develop strategic partnerships across Reading and surrounding areas
  • Identify new quality prospects to provide sales growth
  • Build growth of new accounts through relationship building, regular contact and sales negotiation
  • Manage accounts for first 12 months of their life as a Copart seller
  • Conduct customer reviews and embed Copart as a true partner of choice
  • Manage new business pipeline and record updates

Requirements

  • Proven track record in B2B/SME sales or business development, preferably in a regional/field-based role
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills
  • Commercial acumen with a strong understanding of value-based selling
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
