About the role

  • Strategic Business Development Manager generating B2B2C sales in leisure travel market. Define strategy, engage prospects, manage integrations at Trainline Partner Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • generating new sales in the B2B leisure travel market
  • defining the go-to-market strategy
  • identifying opportunities, engaging and negotiating with prospects
  • managing integrations with support from the integration team
  • assisting in ramping up volumes until transitioning to the Account Management team
  • supporting coordination with customer and Trainline teams
  • generating incremental net ticket sales
  • participating in travel industry events across Europe
  • exploring leisure market’s needs and mapping business opportunities
  • managing the sales cycle from A to Z

Requirements

  • Business or related degree, and/or able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness.
  • Knowledge of travel or rail distribution is desirable.
  • Experience in business development or account management is desirable.
  • Experience in managing complex and long B2B sales cycle is desirable.
  • Experience in project management is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English is a must. Additional European languages are a plus.
