About the role
- Lead Brenntag’s technical team in India and provide innovative solutions across food segments. Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams for effective project management and communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead Brenntag’s India technical team in providing and developing technical solutions to customers
- Provide technical support to Blended Solutions Team
- Build great working relationships and maintain excellent communication with Brenntag’s commercial team and key suppliers
- Ensure on-time completion of customer projects and internal application projects
- Collaborate with marketing team in various marketing activities
- Create innovative solution blends with Blended Solutions Team
- Provide training of Brenntag’s product portfolio to commercial team and customers
- Improve competency of the Nutrition Application Laboratory
- Share technical successes or commercial successes with Brenntag’s team members
Requirements
- Degree in Food Science/Food Technology/Food Chemistry/Food Engineer
- 10 to 15 years working experience as Food Technologist / Research & Development role in Food & Beverage Industry
- Experience in the application of various food ingredients as well as blends of various food ingredients
- Experience in developing and presenting trends, new solutions and prototypes with customer interface
- Experience in leading a team of technologists or scientists
- Good knowledge in food nutrition and its application
- Knowledge or experience in Food safety practice
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask
