About the role

  • HRIS, Data & Analytics Specialist enhancing HR data quality and digital processes for Sonepar Germany. Focusing on HRIS administration and data analysis for strategic HR decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze HR data (e.g., headcount, turnover, recruiting, absences, compensation, costs)
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and management analyses
  • Identify trends, patterns, and action areas to support strategic HR decisions
  • Prepare complex analyses for diverse stakeholders (HR, managers, executive leadership)
  • Support, configure, and further develop HR systems and digital processes (e.g., SuccessFactors, Haufe (UKG) modules: People Assist & People Doc, SAP HCM)
  • Translate HR requirements into system and data solutions
  • Work closely with HR specialists, IT, and external service providers
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all HR systems
  • Build and maintain HR data models as well as reporting and commentary on HR metrics (KPIs) – continuously optimize HR processes through data-driven insights
  • Automate reports, analyses, and processes
  • Participate in HR strategy, digitization, lean, and transformation projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, HR Management, Statistics, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in HRIS, HR data management, or People Analytics
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and HR metrics
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Technical competencies
  • Experience with HR systems (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors, Haufe)
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, reporting from HR systems)
  • First experience with AI-driven processes
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Structured, independent, solution- and team-oriented working style
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations for action
  • High sensitivity to confidentiality and data protection
