About the role

  • CMO - Marketing Manager focused on Performance Marketing and Social Media for Eventplanning24's innovative event services platform. Engage in dynamic teamwork to optimize marketing strategies and manage campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage & optimize marketing channels
  • Plan, implement and optimize performance advertising (ads) campaigns on Google/Meta/Pinterest/TikTok
  • Manage budget based on performance; re-engage drop-offs
  • Deliver clear 14-day report (clicks → inquiries → bookings → cost per booking)
  • Manage external partners/freelancers as needed
  • Maintain social & influencer editorial calendar; publish and distribute content
  • Select creators/influencers and manage collaborations
  • Use discount/partner codes and measure impact
  • Nurture the community (comments/DMs → inquiries)
  • Commission content creation (automate and/or use freelancers)
  • SEO & GEO (AI discoverability)
  • Plan & manage SEO strategy (site structure, content, fundamentals)
  • Build backlinks & partnerships
  • Use AI for content creation and automation
  • Regular monitoring with concise result updates
  • Build and maintain partnerships & affiliate relationships (e.g., venues/planners/service providers)
  • Manage affiliate program (codes, billing, performance)
  • Plan and evaluate joint promotions/bundles
  • Plan trade shows & events: objectives, budget and presence; coordinate team & materials
  • Attend events and capture leads
  • Rapid follow-up and brief evaluation of results
  • Set up & maintain a CRM
  • Email campaigns for customer acquisition
  • Communication with (potential) customers

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with performance marketing
  • Practical experience with social media & influencers
  • Practical experience with ChatGPT or similar AI tools
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and an independent work style
  • Strong communication skills, team orientation and a curiosity to learn
  • Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
