About the role
- Controlling & Accounting student role supporting financial processes and reporting at ControlExpert. Engaging with international subsidiaries while working up to 20 hours per week in Langenfeld.
Responsibilities
- Gain valuable insights into the operational controlling and accounting of our company in Langenfeld and of more than 20 international subsidiaries
- Support month-end closings, intercompany reconciliations and accounting-related enquiries within Group Accounting
- Take on tasks in international controlling and actively contribute to budget and forecast processes
- Prepare reports, Excel analyses and ad-hoc analyses, including in sales, cost and project controlling
- Support the ongoing digitization and automation of our controlling and accounting processes
Requirements
- You are studying Business Administration or a comparable degree — ideally with a focus on Controlling, Finance or Accounting
- Initial theoretical knowledge in controlling, financial reporting or accounting is a plus
- Strong affinity for numbers, analytical thinking and an independent, structured and solution-oriented working style, with very good communication and team skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confident use of PowerPoint
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Workload: Up to 20 hours per week
