About the role

  • Consultant providing risk management consulting services to client companies in a hybrid setting. Supporting domestic and international governance frameworks and crisis management efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consulting services related to enterprise risk management.
  • Collect various information and prepare documents based on ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) methodologies and GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) frameworks, etc.
  • Collect various information and prepare materials in order to provide services related to risk and crisis management necessary to solve issues/challenges of client companies, in collaboration with other service teams of Control Risks and overseas firms.
  • Provide support to senior personnel in delivery of consulting projects related to various risks and crises.
  • Support senior personnel in business development.
  • Support updates of existing services and development of new services related to ERM and GRC.

Requirements

  • At least three to four years of experience working in a related and/or relevant role.
  • Academic or professional training in ERM, GRC, political risk, security threat and/or political analysis.
  • Familiarity with business-focused research and analysis.
  • A very high level of written and spoken English and Japanese
  • Ability to identify and interpret events and developments of potential interest or concern to Control Risks’ client base.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, while also contributing to broader team objectives.
