Bus Analytics Consultant Sr designing executive dashboards and driving analytics for PNC's Technology organization. Leading complex data analyses to support decision making and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, automation, and optimization of executive‑level dashboards and reporting, primarily using Tableau, to support senior technology leaders.
Drive complex data analyses across multiple domains—including technology risk, cybersecurity, fraud, and program/project performance—to uncover trends, insights, and actionable recommendations.
Build and manage advanced data models and pipelines using SQL, Python, and/or R.
Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, proactively identifying opportunities where analytics can support decision‑making or mitigate risk.
Own end‑to‑end analytics solutions, from scoping and requirement gathering to delivery and ongoing enhancements.
Translate highly technical or ambiguous data into clear narratives, executive summaries, and visually compelling dashboards.
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices, improving analytic rigor, data quality, and visualization standards across the organization.
Stay current on emerging analytics tools, automation techniques, and visualization capabilities, bringing forward new ideas and innovations.
Apply strong judgment, attention to detail, and a consultative mindset when framing insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Requirements
Advanced proficiency in Tableau with the ability to build sophisticated, intuitive dashboards for executive audiences.
Strong experience with SQL, Python, and/or R for data manipulation, data modeling, analytics automation, and statistical analysis.
Experience with Power BI is a plus.
Proven ability to manage complex, ambiguous analytical requests independently with minimal direction.
Strong ability to translate complex analyses into clear insights and compelling stories tailored to senior leadership.
Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a proactive, self-driven work style.
Experience leading or mentoring others, formally or informally.
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence across business and technology teams.
