Strategic Planning & Business Development Associate providing analytical support to healthcare system planning and business development. Managing projects and producing insights for decision making.
Responsibilities
Conduct ongoing environmental and market assessments to identify trends, benchmarks, and growth opportunities in support of system wide and region/service line specific planning.
Support business development, strategic planning, program evaluation, and project initiatives with data driven analysis.
Develop forecasting models, scenario planning analyses, and market assessments to guide strategy.
Recommend and track performance metrics, including ROI, growth strategies, and operational outcomes.
Produce reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights effectively to leadership.
Assist in developing and monitoring institutional scorecards, performance improvement initiatives, and business plans.
Coordinate data collection, reporting, and benchmarking across service lines.
Collaborate with system leaders to share findings, promote best practices, and align initiatives.
Research best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes to support strategic initiatives including but not limited to Certificate of Need and special ad hoc projects.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in analytics, business, or related field
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare strategy, planning, and business development
Education: Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
Experience: Knowledge of healthcare systems, finance, planning, and operational data
License and/or Certification Required: N/A
Knowledge: Knowledge of healthcare trends and strategic planning processes gained through relevant experience.
Skills: Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with an ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
