Manage sales teams for CONMED in orthopedics, developing strategies and relationships to achieve sales goals. Oversee performance and establish rapport with key healthcare professionals in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement business plans under the direction of the Regional Director
Achieves sales quotas by driving sales teams to deliver above market share growth through product sales introductions in assigned district/territory.
Implements sales strategies and tactics for the area, promoting products to existing and new customers through the sales reps.
Establishes and develops rapport with key surgeons and engage with admin level customers (hospital and ambulatory surgery centers) to lead and manage positive and productive relationships.
Recruit, hire, trains and manage a performance-oriented sales team
Maintains routine communications, field rides, management support, leadership, performance management and development of each direct report.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited University (MBA or MA preferred)
5+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience within the medical device industry
2+ years of sales management experience with demonstrated ability to lead others to accomplish sales goals
High level of energy, motivation, drive, perseverance, initiative, commitment & professionalism
Excellent time management and ability to effectively prioritize
