Responsibilities
Monitoring transactions with the AML, KYC, KYT compliance program of the private bank with focus on Brazilian clients based on the regulations of the Swiss, British and Brazilian markets
Performing analyses with the tools for checking customers and filtering transactions, especially for high-risk clients
Ensuring that any significant findings identified are fully investigated and promptly escalated if necessary
Conducting reviews and quality controls of Brazilian customer profiles as well as carrying out additional clarification processes with the first or second line of defense
Preparing periodic concise management reports to senior management
Point of contact for the authorities regarding investigation reports (MROS)
Providing expert advice and training
Controlling the Compliance documentation
Close cooperation with the São Paulo and London office and client relationship managers
Participation in the bank's LATAM projects and initiatives.
Requirements
Master's degree in Law, ideally from a Brazilian university
Brazilian lawyer diploma as an advantage
Work experience with the Swiss, British and Brazilian markets and their regulations
Approximately 3 to 5 years of working experience as a compliance officer in the private banking industry and knowledge of Brazilian market and culture
Knowledge in the field of onboarding, AML, KYC, KYT and sanctions
Use Brazilian, British and Swiss compliance or legal portals to conduct international research
Strong analytical skills and mindset with the ability to work thoroughly and independently
Good communicator and enabler

Excellent interpersonal skills
Current Swiss residence is required
Fluency in Portuguese and English, French as an advantage.
