About the role

  • Payroll Analyst supporting payrolls across APJ at Confluent. Ensuring accurate and timely payroll for a multinational publicly traded company.

Responsibilities

  • Support the distribution and review of payrolls within the APAC regions
  • Daily employee support using our enquiry ticketing system (JIRA)
  • Completion and adherence to payroll processing checklists and SLA’s
  • Ensure operational and SOX controls are properly performed within the payroll process
  • Enter approved payroll payments into our global banking platform
  • Prepare the monthly accounting journal entries to pass to the international accounting teams
  • Prepare payroll reconciliations as required
  • Assist with monthly fluxes and provided detailed support with/to the international accounting team
  • Support the transition to a global payroll service provider

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience within Payroll at a multinational publicly traded company
  • Experience of processing payroll in APAC regions
  • Understanding of case management tools, Service Level Agreements and metrics
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and in all information obtained
  • Experience in a rapid-growth start-up environment
  • Experience working in a Shared Services environment.
