About the role
- Payroll Analyst supporting payrolls across APJ at Confluent. Ensuring accurate and timely payroll for a multinational publicly traded company.
Responsibilities
- Support the distribution and review of payrolls within the APAC regions
- Daily employee support using our enquiry ticketing system (JIRA)
- Completion and adherence to payroll processing checklists and SLA’s
- Ensure operational and SOX controls are properly performed within the payroll process
- Enter approved payroll payments into our global banking platform
- Prepare the monthly accounting journal entries to pass to the international accounting teams
- Prepare payroll reconciliations as required
- Assist with monthly fluxes and provided detailed support with/to the international accounting team
- Support the transition to a global payroll service provider
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience within Payroll at a multinational publicly traded company
- Experience of processing payroll in APAC regions
- Understanding of case management tools, Service Level Agreements and metrics
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and in all information obtained
- Experience in a rapid-growth start-up environment
- Experience working in a Shared Services environment.
