About the role

• BI Manager leading design and delivery of enterprise BI solutions across multiple domains at Concentrix in Romania. Collaborating with business leaders and managing a team of BI developers.

Responsibilities

• A BI Manager leads the design and delivery of enterprise BI solutions across multiple domains, including HR, Finance, Sales, Operations, and Client domains.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable user stories.
• Oversees a team of BI developers and own the delivery of analytics products, ensuring that product backlogs are well-maintained, development work is appropriately prioritized, and deliverables provide the expected value to the organization.
• Architect multi-domain enterprise dashboards that integrate data across HR, Finance, Sales, and Operations.
• Translate strategic business requirements into scalable, governed BI solutions.
• Write optimized SQL using window functions, subqueries, and CTEs to support complex data modeling.
• Design and maintain semantic models with robust datasets, joins, and calculated fields.
• Define and enforce KPI frameworks for global consistency and alignment with governance standards.
• Implement row-level and column-level security across BI platforms to ensure data protection and role-based access.
• Optimize semantic layers for performance, reusability, and governance across BI tools.
• Automate report refreshes, alerts, and exception monitoring to support proactive data management.
• Conduct design/code reviews and mentor junior developers to elevate team capabilities.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Governance, and business stakeholders to align BI solutions with enterprise architecture.

Requirements

• Ability to speak English fluently.
• Advanced SQL: Expertise in complex query design including window functions, subqueries, and CTEs.
• BI Tools: Deep proficiency in Domo and at least two additional platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Dimensional Modeling: Strong command of Kimball and Inmon methodologies.
• Semantic Layer Design: Skilled in building reusable, governed datasets and calculated fields.
• Security & Governance: Experience implementing granular access controls and aligning with enterprise governance.
• Automation: Ability to set up refresh schedules, alerts, and exception logic.
• Mentorship: Proven ability to coach and guide junior developers through technical and architectural challenges.
• Management Experience: 3+ years in BI/data roles, with 0–3 years of management experience.
