Responsibilities
- Support the Logistics Planning/BPL Manager and Planning team through reporting, analysis, testing, education, and documentation
- Provide support and training to internal users
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide coverage for daily execution of planning functions
- Analyze and develop cross-functional processes and methods to improve performance
- Act as SME for developing, testing, implementing, and executing projects that improve planning functions
- Conduct assessments to understand current process executions and identify gaps
- Collaborate with field team leadership on planning processes and procedures
- Utilize technology to its fullest potential
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of three years of work experience required
- Experience in logistics planning or analytical experience required
- Preferred experience with SAP, LEO, VendSmart, GreenMile, Forms.com, Merlin, and Microsoft Suite
- Must manage tasks and timelines for projects
- Collaborative skill set and ability to work well in a team
- Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with mathematical concepts
- 15% travel required within Heartland territory
