About the role

  • System Administrator maintaining optimal workstation availability and reliability at Cleveland Clinic. Troubleshooting, providing Help Desk support and documenting workstations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that workstations and peripherals operate with optimal availability and reliability
  • Clearly and consistently communicates all desktop technology operational directions established for the enterprise
  • Consults on desktop applications and configurations to improve employee productivity
  • Troubleshoots software, hardware, protocol and workstations
  • Provides first and second level diagnostic Help Desk support for hardware, software, operating systems and peripherals
  • Recommends, designs, builds and supports PC workstations
  • Builds and maintains detailed workstation documentation

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months of information systems experience supporting small to mid-sized network (5-100)
  • ITIL Foundations certification is required within six months of position start date
  • Certification(s) in Microsoft desktop operating systems (95/98/NT/2000) preferred
