Responsibilities
Prepare, stage, and configure workstations and peripheral hardware for deployment.
Transport, deploy, and install hardware across multiple Y‑12 facilities following established site procedures.
Perform connectivity, imaging, and operational function tests before system hand‑over.
Retrieve and process decommissioned equipment, ensuring proper documentation, tracking, and asset control.
Execute work orders and lifecycle tasks in ServiceNow or equivalent work management tools.
Maintain documentation in compliance with CNS and DOE quality assurance, information protection, and configuration control requirements.
Support throughput requirements aligned with CNS’s high-volume deployment expectations (350+ workstations/month across the program).
Adhere to site security, training, Environmental Safety & Health (ES&H), and facility access protocols.
Requirements
Associates or higher degree in a technical field and 2 to 5 years of related experience or high school diploma and 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in Windows workstation deployment, desktop administration, or IT hardware support.
Experience with imaging tools, asset management systems, and ticketing/work order platforms.
Ability to handle physical tasks including transporting and installing hardware across secure facilities.
Strong documentation discipline and familiarity with quality/compliance-driven work environments.
DOE Q or DOW TS clearance.
