About the role

  • sales director leading the ambitious Account Manager Team for corporate sales at citizenM. Focusing on Business Development and establishing strong corporate relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire and motivate the account manager team towards ambitious sales goals.
  • Plan and execute frequent sales trips across Europe/US for sales activities in the locations where the Account Managers are based.
  • Key Account management: ability to demonstrate account penetration and deliver on revenue targets and growth plans.
  • Attend industry fairs and events and provide ROI analysis on attendance to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Analyze performance metrics and market trends to guide strategic account decisions.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills for complex account negotiations, leveraging internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor corporate portfolio results of the account management team and implement tactics to maintain and grow a healthy account database.
  • GSO Relationship Management expert with emphasis on supporting the Account Managers develop those skills
  • Maintaining the CRM system up-to-date to support your account management activities and reporting accuracy.
  • This role comes with frequent travel. Monthly/bi-monthly travel required to EU locations and twice a year travel to the US - in order to collaborate with your team

Requirements

  • Solid experience within commercial hotel sales
  • Proven track record of successfully leading international sales teams
  • Established network of hospitality decision makers globally
  • Experience with GSO relationship management from key hospitality brands like Marriott, IHG etc.
  • High level data proficiency and expert level CRM activity management
  • Possesses strong organisational and time-management abilities, while maintaining a high level of structure and attention to detail
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ambitious: strongly wants to succeed
