Responsibilities
Collaborates with the business to refine market and target strategy
Establish and execute strategies to pursue, develop, negotiate, and secure new partner programs
Maintains policy, controls and sign-off requirements for all pursuit stages
Identifies and develops mutually beneficial relationships with senior internal leadership and other Citigroup businesses
Integrates Citigroup product offerings as part of a robust financial solutions package
Develops and executes the strategy to manage internal and external processes and constituents
Manages prospecting activities for assigned targets and pipeline management
Develops internal and external documents to support successful negotiations
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
Requirements
11+ years relevant experience
Previous experience in new business development required.
Experience in Marketing and Product development preferred
Track record of success with demonstrated skills in Sales, Finance and Customer Relationship Management
Experience in P&L management
Track record of leading large complex cross-functional teams through the business development process
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Effective team player - ability to lead and partner with other areas (finance, risk, marketing, operations)
Strong senior level network across Citi lines of business
Existing relationships with prospective partners and industry advisors
Fluency in structuring financial offers and experience negotiating complex multi-year agreements
