About the role

  • Sales Hunter driving market growth by originating and closing new business opportunities with IT consulting solutions. Building relationships and implementing market strategies for client acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Use demand generation strategies to acquire new clients, including origination and prospecting approaches.
  • Work closely with partners and alliances (Microsoft, Accenture, and other ecosystem partners) to bring in new logos per fiscal year.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market plans to open new logos within specific industry sectors.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers to establish trust and drive new business opportunities.
  • Leverage market intelligence to identify growth opportunities, optimize positioning, and broaden Avanade’s presence in the market.
  • Craft and deliver compelling, value-driven proposals that clearly articulate business benefits from adopting Microsoft-based solutions.
  • Engage buyers through multiple channels (digital content, social media, campaigns, email) to create awareness and generate pipeline.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in IT consulting sales, with focus on business development and hunting.
  • Experience in a direct selling role.
  • Proven track record in selling large-scale consulting engagements.
  • Industry knowledge Resources: Energy, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Renewables
