About the role

  • Product Owner focused on SIG components at Ciril GROUP. Engage in agile project management and collaborate across teams to meet user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with the Product Manager, commercial teams, customer service, business teams and clients to collect, analyze and synthesize needs and define the product strategy.
  • Contribute to product positioning decisions relative to the market and competitors through continuous monitoring and innovation proposals.
  • Translate the overall product vision into a clear, understandable roadmap for the team.
  • Write specifications for new features and ensure they are well understood by the development team.
  • Maintain, refine (groom) and prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value, strategic objectives, technical dependencies and time constraints.
  • Actively participate in and facilitate key Scrum ceremonies with the development team (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review) and serve as the single decision point for functional questions.
  • Write test plans and lead acceptance testing in coordination with the QA team.
  • Verify that newly developed features comply with the requested specifications.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, notably the UX/UI team, to ensure the product delivers the best possible user experience.
  • Participate in certain user groups, trade shows or demonstrations to present upcoming products and major innovations.
  • Use AI tools in accordance with Ciril GROUP's regulatory framework.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • 4 years in a similar role or in a product-oriented, business analysis, or client project management role within the GIS sector
  • Significant experience using a GIS product
  • Interest in geospatial data challenges
  • Experience at a software vendor is a plus
  • Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum fundamentals and/or backlog tools (Jira or equivalent)
  • Basic development knowledge is a plus
