About the role

  • Administrative Assistant providing essential support to the Investment Advisor team in CIBC’s Wood Gundy brokerage. Engaging with clients and ensuring compliance in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Investment Advisor team in Wood Gundy brokerage
  • Work closely with Advisors as they plan and manage client investments
  • Assist in processes to direct assets into suitable financial products based on client risk tolerance
  • Connect with clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Attend local events and participate in marketing and outreach activities
  • Support Advisors by providing timely responses to client requests and improve team productivity

Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English
  • Ability to connect with clients on a personal level
  • Maintain compliance standards in client dealings/client files
  • Knowledge in investments and financial products
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in administrative activities and processes
  • Strong client engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Critical thinking skills for decision making
