Responsibilities
Reception and orientation of patients (in-person and by phone)
Updating the patient list to be sent to relevant contacts
Managing discharges: preparing prescriptions, transport vouchers and booking ambulances
Management of validated medical reports
Handling 100% coverage authorizations at the Admissions Office
Coordination with the operating theatre for scheduling surgeries and preparing administrative files for the clinic
Preparing discharge folders
Management of transfusion records
Administrative follow-up for palliative care
Handling hospitalization requests in the absence of the Day Hospital nurse manager
In-person and telephone reception
Scheduling procedures and consultations requested by physicians
Organizing schedules according to available slots
Communicating with the Gassin pharmacy
Creating and updating patient records
Administrative management
Management of transfusion files: before and after transfusion
Filing and archiving patient records
Requirements
Diploma in medical secretarial studies or equivalent
At least 2 years of professional experience in a medical setting
Proficiency with office software and medical management systems
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion
Well-developed interpersonal skills for welcoming and guiding patients
Versatility and adaptability to varied tasks
Good oral and written communication skills in French
Knowledge of medical terminology and administrative procedures
