Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate performance management, termination processes, job descriptions, and employee classifications
  • Recommend improvements to HR processes, procedures, and organizational structures
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment and wage-and-hour laws
  • Monitor labor law updates and proactively adjust policies and practices as needed
  • Analyze HR programs and strategies against industry best practices to ensure competitiveness
  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives aligned with strategic business goals
  • Manage employee personnel records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Coordinate onboarding by welcoming new employees, facilitating documentation, and supporting their transition into the organization
  • Develop, update, and maintain company policies and procedures
  • Prepare HR-related reports, presentations, and data analysis for leadership

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist
  • Advanced knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and operations
  • Strong understanding of wage and hour laws and employment compliance
  • Proven track record of delivering HR programs tied to strategic business outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • HRIS platforms and payroll systems (e.g., ADP)
