About the role

  • Senior Adviser managing high-profile events and protocols in the Government sector. Ensuring successful delivery of ceremonial and special events while advising on protocol matters.

Responsibilities

  • Provides advice on matters of protocol, state and national observances and conventions.
  • Delivers ceremonial and special events of state significance and international visits.
  • Manages the planning and implementation of various major events and programs.
  • Responsible for the administration of significant awards programs in Victoria.
  • Works with senior internal and external clients and stakeholders to plan and deliver a diverse suite of high-profile events and programs.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading event management delivery at a high level within the Government sector.
  • Background in Multicultural events would be an advantage.
