About the role

  • Facilities Manager overseeing office operations and maintenance for an international broker in Larnaca, Cyprus. Ensuring technical functionality and vendor management for day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day technical and operational functionality of HFM offices, ensuring all systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, safety systems) are properly maintained and operational.
  • Perform hands-on basic maintenance tasks where required and supervise external contractors for more complex works.
  • Assist leadership in scouting, assessing, and setting up new office spaces from a facilities, infrastructure, and compliance standpoint.
  • Manage relationships with landlords, maintenance providers, cleaning services, security services, and utility providers.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely resolution of technical faults or breakdowns.
  • Monitor and manage the office facilities budget, including procurement of technical equipment, furniture, and operational supplies.
  • Ensure all locations comply with Cyprus Health & Safety regulations and that safety protocols are implemented in line with directives from the Group Health & Safety Officer.
  • Oversee building access systems, emergency equipment, fire safety infrastructure, and workplace risk mitigation measures.
  • Support technical logistics for internal events, office expansions, and workspace reconfigurations.
  • Manage incoming/outgoing deliveries related to facilities and technical equipment and maintain accurate facilities records.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Office Management, Facilities Management, Maintenance, or Engineering-related roles.
  • Proven hands-on experience in building maintenance, technical troubleshooting, or engineering support.
  • Must be based in (or willing to commute daily to) Larnaca.
  • Fluency in English and Greek is essential for coordination with vendors and internal teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport (to travel between local sites).
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing external contractors.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to independently identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
