About the role

  • Parts Interpreter role at automotive dealership supporting parts identification and supply for workshop and retail customers. Maintains strong stock control and customer service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and supply parts for workshop and retail customers across multiple brands
  • Accurately identify parts using electronic catalogues and dealer management systems
  • Process parts orders, invoices, and credits
  • Maintain stock control and assist with inventory management including picking, locating, parts binning and dispatch
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
  • Provide professional, responsive service to technicians, service advisors, and customers

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an automotive parts environment
  • Strong attention to detail and product knowledge
  • Confidence using electronic parts catalogues and dealer management systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A team-focused approach and willingness to support a multi-brand operation
  • Experience across multiple automotive brands is highly regarded but not essential
  • Fork lift licence highly regarded but not essential
  • Current drivers licence
