About the role

  • Strategic Partnerships Manager leading Cafeyn Premium distribution partnerships across Europe. Focusing on B2B2C models in Telecom, Banking, Insurance, Pay TV, and Retail sectors.

Responsibilities

  • You will join the B2B2C Distribution team and report directly to the VP Distribution Partnerships.
  • You will be responsible for developing Cafeyn Premium distribution partnerships across Europe, with a primary focus on assigned countries, including the DACH region (and potentially beyond), and across multiple verticals such as Telecom, Banking, Insurance, Pay TV, and Retail.
  • Prospecting and sourcing new partners in your assigned verticals, identifying high-potential opportunities for Cafeyn Premium distribution.
  • Leading the full sales cycle: building business cases, pitching Cafeyn’s value proposition, negotiating commercial and contractual terms, and closing new deals.
  • Managing executive relationships with senior stakeholders (C-level, VP) at partner organizations.
  • Ensuring a smooth handover of signed partnerships to Channel Marketing and Account Management for activation and growth.
  • Contributing to vertical expertise by gathering market intelligence, competitor insights, and best practices, helping refine our playbooks and go-to-market approach.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Product, and Marketing teams to structure deals and align on execution.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships/Alliance/Channel, or Strategic Sales roles
  • Experience in B2B2C distribution models (Telcos, Banks/Insurance, Retail/E-commerce, Hospitality/Travel, or related sectors)
  • A proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing high-value deals with senior stakeholders (C-level, VP)
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills, with the ability to manage multi-stakeholder, cross-functional processes
  • Solid grasp of pipeline management, qualification frameworks, and CRM discipline (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent)
  • Ability to balance short-term sales execution with long-term partner value creation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey Cafeyn’s value proposition with impact
  • Fluent in German & English; additional European languages are a strong asset
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, resilient, and target-driven, with a collaborative spirit and passion for digital media and tech.
