About the role

  • Enterprise Account Executive responsible for developing sales strategies and driving AWS solutions in Canadian retail market. Building relationships with decision makers and delivering sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key decision makers within organizations in the retail sector to generate opportunities to deliver AWS solutions.
  • Develop a go-to-market strategy that will expand OpsGuru’s reach within the assigned territory.
  • Be accountable for consistently delivering quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Partner with marketing to develop campaigns, events and promotional programs to drive sales opportunities.
  • Maintain and up-sell existing and enterprise-level accounts.
  • Craft professional written responses for prospective customer requests for quotes, proposals, complex bids.
  • Evangelize the OpsGuru message to your targets/partners and bring feedback to evolve strategy and services.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years’ experience in strategic solutions selling in the cloud consulting, managed services and/or AI space.
  • At least 2 years of experience selling solutions to organizations within the retail sector.
  • Have knowledge and interest in the cloud consulting/data transformation industry and related technologies.
  • Disciplined sales approach to prospect, qualify and close sales opportunities.
  • A high degree of business acumen and integrity.
  • A trusted network of relationships with companies offering services complementary to OpsGuru’s solutions.
  • Ability to forge trusted relationships through strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment, with a roll up your sleeves, get it done attitude.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Energy and enthusiasm that engages people around you.
