Regional HR Manager providing HR support and consulting for the workforce at 48forty Solutions. Managing employee relations and optimizing HR functions to enhance company culture and compliance.
Responsibilities
Formulate partnerships across the business function(s) and HR to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues - conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to field management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
Consult often with field management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance, in many states, including California, partnering with our Legal department as needed
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, to build morale, and to increase productivity and retention
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to all employees
Deliver guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning
Identify training needs for assigned locations and individual executive coaching needs
Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success, then follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field
HR Certification (SHRM/PHR) preferred
Thorough knowledge of labor legislation, including California
3-5 years HR business partner experience required
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred
Broad working knowledge of all aspects of HR functions and business processes
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in Data Analytics, Microsoft Office and general computer skills
Strong planning and execution skills
Solid cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
Strong writing, interpersonal and presentation skills
Bilingual abilities (English and Spanish) a plus.
