About the role

  • Implementation Specialist at Canary Systems developing geotechnical data solutions and reports for client safety and operational risks. Collaborating with clients and project managers in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and process various geotechnical data sources
  • Develop statistical methods for filtering and trending of data
  • Develop methods for correlating and understanding disparate data sources
  • Configure alerts and automated reporting based on data processing methodologies
  • Monitor client systems and databases
  • Prepare status and operation reports
  • Prepare project documentation
  • Provide training and other services
  • Assist with ongoing contract services, including monthly proactive monitoring, reporting, and client requests

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or mining engineering
  • Geotechnical data reduction and presentation methods
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) including 2D and 3D systems
  • Scripting/programming experience including Python, VBScript, SQL
  • Software, including database technologies such as Firebird and PostgreSQL
