About the role

  • Operations Manager managing hotel operations and enhancing guest experiences at Blue Water Hospitality. Leading a team to maintain service standards and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate all department daily activities related to outdoor pool bar and parking areas
  • Establish and review departmental standards, guidelines, and objectives
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs and quality checks to drive exceptional service and guest satisfaction
  • Acts as a knowledgeable resource in property operational software such as Property Management systems
  • Regularly intervenes, assists, and documents guest or employee incidents
  • Maintain the integrity of the hotel’s compliance with safety and security program
  • Partner with GM to create a positive work environment
  • Provides comprehensive scheduling and manages timekeeping for all related staff
  • Support all aspects of people leadership: recruitment, retention, training, coaching, and performance development
  • Regularly assists the General Manager in budget analysis, monitoring, and expense management
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of previous hotel operations and leadership experience with a large staff and focus on exceptional guest service
  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality management or another related field is preferred
  • CPO Certified (preferred)
  • An appropriate combination of education and work experience to support on-the-job effectiveness
