About the role

  • Research Manager/Associate Director at MTM leading quantitative research projects in gaming and gambling sectors. Seeking a seasoned quantitative specialist to ensure high-quality client deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary project lead and strategic advisor for key accounts in the gaming and gambling sectors.
  • Maintain and grow strong, trusted relationships with clients, answering questions before they are asked and identifying nuances in their business challenges.
  • Ensure all client deliverables communicate a clear, consistent, and impactful narrative with commercially relevant recommendations.
  • Act as the day-to-day project lead, working with junior members of the team, with limited involvement from senior team members for less complex projects.
  • Lead the design of quantitative research materials, including questionnaires, stimulus, and table specifications.
  • Oversee fieldwork and project timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to MTM’s high quality standards.
  • Conduct expert interviews/stakeholder interviews to provide strategic context to underpin quantitative research insights.
  • Present debriefs and facilitate workshops with senior client stakeholders.
  • Draft and present high-quality quantitative research proposals and prepare accurate project costs.
  • Take responsibility for project profitability, including pipeline management and budget phasing.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, providing constructive feedback and hands-on coaching to ensure high standards are met.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working within a primary research agency managing quantitative projects.
  • A demonstrable interest and/or professional experience in gaming and gambling is essential.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software such as Q or SPSS, alongside advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced data analysis methods, such as segmentation, conjoint, or regression analysis.
  • A strong understanding of the MRS Code of Conduct and GDPR.
