Responsibilities
Develop and manage configuration tools, feature strategies and offering structures to enable airplane configuration definition.
Use customer knowledge, data analytics, regulatory, in-service and production insight and industry trends to ensure feature offerings provide customer and Boeing value.
Communicate feature and product offering and significant configuration change information to customers and Customer Engineering Account Managers.
Provide Programs, customers, and configuration teams with feature strategy, customer and industry knowledge, airplane configuration data, and feature product information.
Ensure Boeing leads the industry by providing technical advancements that result in increased market share and profit for the Boeing Company.
Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally at approximately 10% of the time, as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
9 or more years of engineering experience in Boeing Commercial Airplanes (preferred).
Experience in customer or supplier-facing roles (preferred).
Master’s degree in Engineering or a Master of Business Administration (MBA) (preferred).
